DAVID C. SMITH

David C. Smith is Compliance Specialist for Centered Insurance Solutions. His background includes work in government as a regulator and policy advisor.  He has extensive industry knowledge in sales and marketing with both employers and agents as a compliance specialist and problem-solver. He is a consultant for large employers and self-funded group health plans.  David has served in leadership positions at the local, state and national levels within National Association of Health Underwriters.  David frequently speaks nationally, focusing on educating employers and agents and brokers on the impact of various state and federal laws.  He advised clients on the purchase and regulation of employer-based health benefits.

 

David has also been recognized as one of our industry’s top professionals, having been named as the Employee Benefit Adviser of the Year in 2013 and the recipient of the Harold R. Gordon Memorial Award in 2018 – as the Health Insurance Professional of the Year.
